I would just like to thank Chris Carter for making the best tv show! I love the x-files with all my heart! It will always be my favorite tv show. I am so sad that it is over. I have been watching it with my daddy since I was a little girl. Now I am 14 and I still adore it! I would like to thank Chris for his great creativity and extreme possibilities. He also picked the best actor, David Duchovny and actress, Gillian Anderson to be apart of the show. I love all the charachters and anyone who made this awesome tv show! Thank you chris for being born and coming up with this show!

Thank you for your talent, your vision, your commitment and your crazy belief that the tv-viewing public deserves something a little more substantial than The Bachelor and Survivor. Thank you for bringing such an innovative, intelligent and exciting show to television.
The wit was dry, the humour sometimes
risque and the stories pushed the envelope. It was a refreshing change and introduced many interesting theories and ideas.
The wonderful duo of Scully and Mulder wove a complex relationship which was a rare delight and their love for each other genuine.
You brought us many odd and interesting characters along with the storylines and they will all be missed.
Luckily they will live on in re-runs and in our imaginations.
I hope your next endeavor is just as successful. Cheers to the next (and hopefully many) x-files movies.

I've been putting off adding my own message simply because it's very hard to condense nine years' worth of thoughts and feelings into one message. Chris, like most fans, I've had my moments of joy and my moments of utter outrage at the many twists and turns in this gift you've given us in The X Files. But the thing I have always respected you for is that you are a brave and elegant storyteller. I like that you have the guts to not always go for the happy ending. I like that you have the guts to create characters who are flawed and who make bad choices. I like that you surround yourself with other brave storytellers like Frank Spotnitz and, in days gone by, Morgan and Wong. I think I have grown as a storyteller as a result of your work. So no matter what resolutions or lack of them emerge in the finale tomorrow, no matter what complaints I've had in the past or may have in the future about the paths the show has taken, thank you. Thank you for the show and for giving so many years of your life to it. I am proud to be associated with a project in your honour. Deslea

It feels a little odd to say thank you to someone I’ve never met, but it also feels necessary. My first episode of the X-Files was Erlenmeyer Flask. To put it mildly, I was blown away. You’ve done such wonderful, magical work over the past nine years. It has not always been perfect, but it has always been interesting. More than anything I admire your willingness to try new things, to make bold moves, to keep being creative. I don’t know what you’ll do next, (I can’t think of much that’s more creative than riding a wave), but I hope I get to crawl inside of one of your ideas again. Be happy. Thank you. Michelle Hawkins

I just want to thank you for putting on the best tv show in spite of what TV Guide says. LOL. I started watching the X-Files in the first year. How the time flies. May 19 will a bittersweet one but especially so since it is my 26th birthday. Best wishes to the cast and crew in their future endeavors. I'm looking forward to another movie.
