Dear Chris, I was just in the main site, pondering a permanent exit, not as an offense, but to leave the past. But, what a past it's been. I have a hard time envisioning shows that can hold my interest the way X Files, Millennium, and Harsh Realm did. That said, I would assume YOU'D be the guy to do it. Hey, no pressure there! More than the shows themselves, the openness, the accessability, the friendliness you all shared with us will remain as fond memories. To me, THAT was a part in the success of the shows(yes, I DO consider Millennium and HR successes). I do not think there is another show out there that can boast the same. While you may not have received any or all the gifts, letters and cards we sent over the years, it sure was great fun making/buying/manuevering them to you! Whether it's another show, an X File movie, or even a surfing documentary, we'll be waiting to "hear from you" again! Oh yeah, and when are you doing those books you're supposed to write, man? LOL! It's been tough to let go, painfully tough. But, all things, good or bad, must pass on(Not that I quite believe that yet, still working on it). One last thing...I know I'm not the only one who has made this comment, but being a fan of the shows really did/has/is cause(d)(ing)a more open mind and a commitment to search for "truth" in whatever form it takes. So when someone tells you guys how they've "changed" due to your work, don't think they're weird and don't discount it. It happens. Okay, I have to go make dinner now, I'd invite you, but I only have six pork chops, and a thunderstorm is here and I may lose connection. Ok, now HOW do I permanently leave the xf site? dear Chris: I´m writing you from Chile (which is a country that you probably don't even know), and I was and I am a huge fan of the show. You and specially David and Gillian, gave me such beautiful and moving moment that I will never forget. I really want you thank you for all your talent and devotion for this great show. Nevertheless, I really hated the ending, and I will never forgive you for that. It was a really creepy moment. I just didn't get it!!!!! and don't tell me that 'that's how the characters or story is' because it was the last episode, we deserved a better and tasty ending. X-files is a creative TV series to discuss something we can't see it obviously, and it arise many fantasies from many people. I think Mulder & Scully is a badge of human instinct and rationality.
